New Custody Coach film and social media

There are a number of exciting changes coming to The Custody Coach in the coming weeks. Ahead of these, we have had the opportunity to work with one of Australia’s leading film and live events production companies to create a series of short films explaining what sets The Custody Coach apart from family law solicitors, and how we make a difference to parents who have to engage with the family court system.

This month we have also spent some time updating The Custody Coach website and setting up a Facebook page, Instagram and a TikTok account. Other features on the website include a form for new enquiries and a Case Study Section where we will be explaining the background to particular cases and the key features that impacted the Final Order and outcome.

Tee Legal Podcast

While in Sydney, Australia, Nadine was invited to talk about her time with Fathers4Justice and her work as a McKenzie Friend, with Tendayi Chivunga, a family law lawyer on her Podcast “Legally Speaking with Tee”.

“Tee” has an extraordinary background coming out of Zimbabwe as she followed her big sister to Australia when she was just 16 years old. Living in Newcastle, NSW, she decided to pursue a career in law, but it wasn't as easy to follow her dreams as she first thought.

The Custody Coach offers “fixed fee”, up front plans. This means we manage your case and your budget together. We review and re-quote after each Hearing so there are no unrealistic down payments or unexpected costs.

Starter Package - £ 1250.00

Let us get you to the first Hearing with a fixed fee starter package, including:

• 30 Minute Client Background Call and New Client Pack

• Advice on obtaining a MIAM Certificate - this is the signed mediation form that is required prior to filing any application

• Drafting the c100 Application

• Drafting the c1A Application if applicable

• Preparing client to speak with Cafcass for completion of Safeguarding

• Advice on the recommendations made within the Safeguarding Letter

• Advice on any counter applications made by the other side (O/S).

• Advice up to and including the First Hearing (FHDRA)

• Drafting a Position Statement for the First Hearing (FHDRA)

• Drafting of all admin, letters and emails from client, to O/S, Court and Cafcass

• All associated admin, reading and emails from O/S, Court and Cafcass

• Where some Courts operate a Gatekeeping Non Attendance Hearing, prior to the First Hearing, this cost also includes those.

Attendance at the FHDRA is extra, depending on availability.

At every step of the process, we coach you on the Court’s requirements, third party input and terminology, so you are fully informed as you take on this new, and often overwhelming, journey.
